Competitive groups in jazz and tap were extremely successful in various state and local competitions, including Starlight Productions and Showstoppers National Dance Competitions. Awards for choreographic excellence and overall high-point scores were common. Invited and performed in the Gregory Hines show, "Tap Jam".
